The 2016 Youth World Weightlifting Championships is currently underway in Penang, Malaysia, and action is already off to a great start.
This year, the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) is hosting a live stream of the event here.
So far, there don’t seem to be multiple camera angles, zoom, or slow-motion available, but it’s still a clear look at the platform where the world’s best weightlifters age 17 and under will compete for medals from now through October 25th.
The updated scoreboard is also available here.
On the first day of competition, Hayley Reichardt secured the USA’s first medal of the meet after taking bronze in the women’s 48kg group.
Plenty of other American and international athletes — including reigning Junior World Champion CJ Cummings — are set to compete; read more about some of the biggest names here.
